TYPES OF APARTMENTS IN PRAGUE
If you are looking for an apartment in Prague, you can be confused with all the shortcuts used by the real estate agencies or websites, which offer you some 1+0, 1+kk, studios etc. He comes a little guide (illustrated by examples of our apartments) in order to find yourself better in all these shortcuts and get an accurate picture of what they offer to you :
In brief : the first number means the number of rooms (bedroom, living-room, dinning-room etc.) and the second means the number of kitchens, since « kk » is « kuchyňský kout » (kitchen corner), which is always a part of one of the rooms, usually the living-room.
· Studio « Garsonka »
Only one room with a simplistic kitchen corner, possibly a little bathroom with WC and an entrance.
· 1+kk (1+0) (sometines mixed up with studio)
One room (used as living-room, kitchen and bedroom), a bathroom, an entrance and possibly a separated WC.
· 1+1 (sometines mixed up with a studio as well)
One room, a kitchen, a bathroom, an entrance and possibly a separated WC.

· 2+kk (2+0)
A living-room with a kitchen corner, one bedroom (usually smaller), a bathroom, an entrance and possibly a separated WC.

· 3+kk (3+0)
A living-room with a kitchen corner, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, an entrance (you can frequently find this type of apartment in relatively new buildings
